Delete your account & data

This page explains how to delete your Vift AI account and the data associated with it. You can do it yourself inside the app in seconds, or request it by email — no reinstall required.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app (fastest)

Open Vift AI on your phone.
Go to the Settings tab.
Open Privacy & data.
Tap Delete my data and confirm.

If you are signed in, the same button also deletes your account: the confirmation reads "Delete your account and data?", and you are signed out once it is done. There is no separate step. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email viruxaai@gmail.com from the email address on your Vift AI account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete your account and associated data within 7 days, and confirm by reply.

What is deleted, and what is kept

History and quarantined files kept on your phone	Never sent to us. Clear them from the Activity tab, or uninstall the app
Copies held in encrypted backups	Purged automatically within 30 days
Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. tax/fraud, if any)	Kept only as long as the law requires, then deleted

Note: your subscription purchase is managed by Google Play, not by Vift AI. To stop billing, also cancel the subscription in Google Play → Subscriptions; deleting your Vift AI account does not by itself cancel a Google Play subscription.
